Before I began tutoring and teaching, I worked as an Education Director for a leading tuition company. That experience inspired me to open Sparkling Minds Tuition with my business partner, Rosy. I’ve been a tutor for several years, specialising in KS1, KS2, 11+, 13+, and GCSE English and Maths. I have a proven track record of helping students achieve outstanding results – including supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Notably, I’ve helped students working at GCSE Grade 1 pass their exams within just three months.

As the co-founder of Sparkling Minds Tuition, I bring a unique blend of creative and academic expertise to my teaching. I hold a First-Class degree from St Mary’s University, and my background in the arts allows me to incorporate dynamic, creative approaches into my lessons, making learning engaging and accessible for all students. This is reflected in the personalised homeschooling plans I’ve designed, which include LAMDA Acting exams and nurture each student’s passions while maintaining the highest possible level of academic success.

I often create personalised worksheets tailored to target each student’s individual weaknesses, ensuring that their learning is focused and effective. Many of my students have successfully gained entrance into prestigious schools, such as Nonsuch, Wallington Grammar, and Whitgift.

I currently oversee the development of all Sparkling Minds Tuition programmes while continuing to work as a highly sought-after tutor and educational consultant.

My lessons go beyond a bespoke plan – they’re built around each student’s confidence, curiosity, and individual learning style. I want every child to feel comfortable asking questions and never afraid to get an answer wrong. Mistakes are part of learning, and I create a supportive space where students feel safe to explore and grow.

I make sure each student is confident with all the foundations before moving on, building their knowledge step by step. I’m flexible in my approach, often creating worksheets and questions on the spot to target specific areas as they arise. I also encourage critical thinking, guiding students to explore why and how things work, so they develop real understanding rather than just memorising answers.

I always bring a sense of fun and enthusiasm to each lesson. My approach blends creativity with structure, helping students not only achieve strong results but also develop self-belief, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning.
