Reed’s School uses the ISEB Common Pre-Test for admissions. This online adaptive test assesses English, Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

What is the 11+ admission process for Reed’s School?

Parents must complete an online registration form usually by the beginning of November. 11+ tests will take place in the following weeks. 

Candidates will also be invited for an informal interview with a senior member of staff. This usually takes place at the beginning of January. 

Offer letters are typically sent out in February, with an acceptance deadline set for March. To confirm a place at Reed’s, parents must complete the acceptance process and submit the required deposit payment.

What is the 11+ exam format like for Reed’s School?

The ISEB Common Pre-Tests are online, multiple-choice assessments that are age-standardised. They take approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete, with each section allocated a specific time: 40 minutes for English, 40 minutes for Mathematics, 30 minutes for Non-Verbal Reasoning, and 25 minutes for Verbal Reasoning.
