Halliford School administers its own entrance examination, focusing on English, Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning. These assessments aim to determine a student’s academic readiness and suitability for the school.

Registration for Year 7 must be completed with a £150 non-refundable fee (£200 for international students).

Places are offered based on:

• Strong interview performance with the Head or Deputy Head
• A positive reference from the candidate’s current school
• A satisfactory pass in the entrance examinations
